Career Classes

Career classes, also known as career technical education (or CTE classes), give you short-term training that prepares you for immediate entry into a career. These courses generally last between six weeks and nine months and can help you transition into community college classes.

Here’s why: If you can take and pass adult school certification courses, then you can do the same with career courses at a community college! You’ll have the confidence and motivation to keep building on your education at your local community college, earning more certifications and/or an associate degree. Or, if you already have a career you like and need skills to help you improve in your current job or get a promotion, one of our career programs could help.

All six of the Riverside regional adult schools offer career classes at an affordable cost. Some of our classes are free and others start at $30.

Get started now and you’ll be in a new, better-paying job in a matter of weeks or months!
